  • This Friday, Radiohead are releasing OKNOTOK, a deluxe reissue of their iconic 1997 album OK Computer in honor of its 20th anniversary. The album includes a remastered version of the original album, eight B-sides, a hardcover book, and three previously unreleased tracks: "I Promise," "Lift," and "Man of War." Today they've shared the video for "Man of War," which was originally called "Big Boots" and written around the time of The Bends. The song has previously been performed live but this is the first time the song has officially been released. In the video, directed by Colin Read, we see a man who is being pursued through the streets and increasingly descends into paranoia. The CD/digital/vinyl versions of the reissue are due out June 23 via XL. Then there's a special boxed edition due out in July. [ Under the Radar ]

  • Depeche Mode have shared a new video for their song "Going Backwards" off of their 14th album Spirit, which was released in March. The video, directed by Timothy Saccenti, is a 360-degree view of the band performing the song in a room full of video screens, old televisions and lights. Depeche Mode will be in Seattle on Saturday, October 21st at the Key Arena. [ NME ]

  • Mac DeMarco stopped by Conan last night to perform "On the Level," off his latest album This Old Dog. DeMarco was joined onstage by comedian Nathan Fielder, who spent the majority of the performance tuning his guitar. Don't miss Mac DeMarco when he stops by The Moore Theatre for two nights, on Sunday, September 10th and Monday, September 11th. [ Consequence of Sound ]

  • Robert Pollard's legendary indie band Guided By Voices have surprisingly announced their 25th studio album. Titled How Do You Spell Heaven, the album will be released August 14 and follows their very recently released doubled album August By Cake. The news also comes with a new song, “Just to Show You.” The band will release 500 copies of their “Just to Show You” 7” single on July 28. This 7” will feature the B-side, “Knife City,” which will not be included on the album. Listen to song exclusively at Paste.
  • We've been covering the indulgent marketing release of Arcade Fire's forthcoming LP Everything Now, which has included a strange corporate Twitter account, fake (apparently inedible) cereal, and scavenger hunts. It's been a long month. Today they've shared a new "official official" version of the video for the song "Creature Comfort" approved by @EverythingNowCo. Just last Friday they released the previously official video for the song and the new video seems to be satirical, essentially just adding bizarre fake trivia annotations to the previous one. For example: “Everything now is available on CD, cassette, vinyl and fidget spinner." July 28th can't come soon enough. [ Pitchfork ]
  • Next week, Baltimore dream pop band Beach House will release B-Sides And Rarities and today the band is streaming the collection in full via NPR. They've shared a number of songs off the new album in the past few weeks but one song we haven't heard is "Baseball Diamond." It's a lovely and simple song. You can see why it didn't end up on their previous albums but we're happy to have it now. B-Sides And Rarities is out 6/30 via Sub Pop. [ Stereogum ]
