Scottish post-rock band Mogwai are releasing their 9th studio album in twenty years called Every Country's Sun next week. We got a taste of the album via previously released tracks "Coolverine" and "Party In The Dark" but today they're giving us a non-album track, the B-side to "Party In The Dark" called "Eternal Panther." At 2 minutes and 45 seconds, it's a quick song but it hits hard in its limited time. Every Country's Sun is out September 1 and Mogwai will be in Seattle on Friday, November 24 to play the Showbox. English electronic producer Four Tet, known to the government as Kieran Hebden, has been sharing new tracks as of late. Previously the songs "Planet" and "Two Thousand And Seventeen" have been unveiled and he's now followed those up with "SW9 9SL." The 8-minute song starts out very calm and builds into a beautiful dance track, bursting with joy. Hebden has recently revealed that he's been in the studio and has been “making music for the past 10 months,” so a forthcoming follow-up to 2015’s Morning/Evening seems likely. Iconic hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan broke their long silence after 2014's wide-released A Better Tomorrow and 2015's privately-released (and solely owned by sleazeball Martin Shkreli) Once Upon A Time In Shaolin to put out the one-off single "Don't Stop" for the HBO show Silicon Valley. They've now followed that up with "People Say" featuring frequent collaborator Redman and produced by Mathematics. Whether this is leading to a new album, it's tough to say, we do know the Ghostface Killah is taking the lead on that though. “RZA put the ball in my hand. He said ‘Yo, I want you to do it,’ and I been wanting to do it, and that’s a big test for me right there,” Killah said last year. [ FACT ]

The Jesus And Mary Chain released Damage And Joy, their first album in 17 years, back in March, which featured a guest feature by Sky Ferreira for the song "Black and Blues." A couple months later the band played The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and brought Ferreira with them to perform "The Two Of Us." It was an interesting choice, considering Ferreira doesn't actually sing on that song in the album version, Isobel Campbell of Belle and Sebastion does, but it appears the band has remedied that by releasing an alternate version of "The Two Of Us" with Ferreira's vocals.
