  • Sleigh Bells delivered the first single and title track from their upcoming ablum, Bitter Rivals in the form of a kick ass (literally) video. The song is like the best trash talking session mixed with fierce backing beats. The Brooklyn duo will being touring this fall and they will hit Showbox at The Market on October 12. [CoS]

  • The wait for M.I.A.‘s forthcoming Mantangi has basically been never-ending, but thankfully we finally have a release date of November 5. There have been several early samples of album tracks, and now we have “Come Walk With Me.” It’s definitely a side of the London rapper that we aren’t used to, but about halfway through she’s back to her crazy electro basics. • Moby and Wayne Coyne joined forces to create one of the most bizarre music videos the world has ever seen. “The Perfect Life” has a little bit of stimulation overload happening, but it’s amazing. The way the two of them pull of mariachi ensembles should be incentive enough for people to watch. Moby offered this warning about the video, ” Please keep in mind we had no idea what we were doing,” which is always promising. [Pitchfork]

  • Today we have the second offering from Cults second LP, Static, (out October 15). “High Road” is a whimsical track with subtle bluesy undertones that make it very fresh and addicting. The chorus is going to be stuck in my head all day. [Stereogum]

  • London producer Tourist has decided to some sparkly dance beats to HAIM‘s track “The Wire.” This remix will be featured on the sister trio’s upcoming deluxe edition LP, Days Are Gone, which will be released later this month. [Stereogum]
