  • Scottish ambient rockers Mogwai are returning with their first new album since 2001's awesomely-titled LP Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will. The less-amusingly-titled album Rave Tapes will be out January 21st on Sub Pop Records. Hear a track from the upcoming release below. [Stereogum]

  • KEXP is celebrating Arcade Fire Day today, leading up to our exciting live performance from the band at 7:00 PM PT/10:00 PM ET, and here's an extra teaser for you: video of the band playing the 27th annual Bridge School Benefit Concert, with the host Neil Young himself.   • Last week, NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon concluded their "Pearl Jam Week" with a blistering performance from the Seattle boys themselves. They performed the track "Sirens" off their brand new 10th album, Lightning Bolt, and frontman Eddie Vedder reminisced with Fallon about their 2012 duet "Balls in Your Mouth."
