  • Starbucks are at it again with Sweetheart 2014, their annual compilation of artists covering their favorite love songs. This year's romantic roster includes Beck, The Head & the Heart, Vampire Weekend, Phosphorescent, and Jim James, covering Bob Marley, as you can stream below. Sweetheart 2014 will be in stores February 4, 2014. [Stereogum]

  • Tokyo-via-NYC duo Cibo Matto are back with their first new album since 1999's Stereo Type A. The long-awaited album, titled Hotel Valentine, comes out appropriately on February 14, 2014, and features special guests Nels Cline, Glenn Kotche, Mauro Refosco (of Atoms for Peace), and Reggie Watts, who you can hear in the first track below, "MFN." They'll be playing March 1st at The Crocodile. [Pitchfork]

  • Fiery Furnaces frontwoman Eleanor Friedberger teamed up yet again with director Scott Jacobson for the video to "My Own World," off her solo LP Personal Record. Actress Kate Lyn Sheil (The Comedy) plays a hapless couch-surfer in the clip. Watch below: [Spin]
