  • Comedian/actor Zach Galifianakis has added some tinsel to his fake talk show Between Two Ferns. In this special holiday edition, he chats with actors Samuel L. Jackson and Tobey Maguire before welcoming Arcade Fire to close out the show with their rendition of "Little Drummer Boy." [Pitchfork]

  • For more holiday weirdness, watch metal masters Megadeth team up with Rilo Kiley frontwoman Jenny Lewis for the fictional Christmas album, Thrashing in the Snow, as featured in a sketch for the late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday night. [Consequence of Sound]

  • How do you make a great song even better? Just hand it over to Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio, like Run the Jewels (aka rappers Killer Mike and El-P) did with their track "Sea Legs." This version will appear on the European-edition of their self-titled album, out early next year. [Stereogum]

  • DFA Records DJ and producer Marcus Lambkin, better known as Shit Robot, has a star-studded sophomore release hitting shelves next year titled We Got a Love. Special guests include Seattle's own comedian/musician Reggie Watts, the Rapture's Luke Jenner, LCD Soundsystem alumna Nancy Whang, Museum of Love, Lidell Townsell, and Holly Backler. Look for it on March 18th. [Spin]

  • Alt-J are still working their 2012 album An Awesome Wave (voted #2 album of last year by KEXP listeners), performing "Fitzpleasure" on the Late Show with David Letterman last night. Watch below: [Consequence of Sound]
