  • Khalif Diouf, aka Le1f, has become the first rapper to sign with Terrible Records (co-founded by Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor). Le1f will release a new EP called Hey on his new label on March 11. “Boom” is the EP’s first single and there’s no surprise that Le1f slays it effortlessly. [Stereogum]


  • James Blake, aka Harmonimix, has been sharing his DJ talents with BBC Radio 1. Yesterday he stopped by for a 120 minute set, which included his remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “m.A.A.d. city.” Blake said he created this mix on a plane ride, that’s impressive. Check it out below. [Pitchfork]

  • George Lewis Jr., better known as Twin Shadow, has been busy cranking out amazing covers for his UNDER THE CVRS series, but somehow he found the time to share his remixing talent. Lewis took on Goldfrapp’s “Thea” from their 2013 album Tales of Us. He turns the original slow burner into a light and airy dance jam. [Stereogum]

  • Australian electronic band, Cut Copy have unveiled their incredible video for the track “We Are Explorers.” It’s a stop motion video that features tiny, green people who set out on their own exciting adventure.
