“I’m glad the tour is going pretty good,” Stevie Zoom said to Swedish punk quartet, Holograms. “Pretty good?” challenged bassist/vocalist Andreas Lagerström, “I think it’s going great!” It’s that youthful energy and defiance that has propelled the young band through their short, but already fruitful, career. With just a year since the release of their self-titled debut, the band have already cranked out their second release, Forever, out now on Captured Tracks. The new album takes an even harder approach to the band’s synth-driven post-punk sound, with urgent percussion and aggressive anthemic choruses. Watch a “great” session, indeed, from this spirited, young band.
