  • YouTube saw fit to air a “hair-loss” infomercial before I could skip ahead to this new video from the Pixies, so the adventures that follow in this enigmatic clip for “Silver Snail” made me laugh more than anything. Check out the new video from their album Indie Cindy below, and see what commercial you get doled out. [Spin]

  • Jen Goma recently lent her angelic vocals to the latest from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, but never fear: she’s back at the forefront with her main band, A Sunny Day in Glasgow, and a new release, Sea When Absent, out June 24th on Lefse. Stream the single “Bye Bye Big Ocean (The End)” below. [Stereogum]

  • The world anxiously awaits a new album from The Decemberists, but in the meanwhile we have fan-shot video from last weekend’s Boston Calling Festival where the band premiered two new songs, tentatively titled “Lake Song” and “Philomena.” Check ‘em out below: [Under the Radar]

  • The Seattle International Film Festival has had a ton of great music documentaries this year, and here’s a possibility for their 2015 line-up: UK band Pulp present A Film About Life, Death & Supermarkets. Filmed at their 2012 hometown show in Sheffield, England, the movie is set to debut in the UK in June. Watch the trailer below. [Pitchfork]
