  • No spoilers, but you’ll probably never guess what happens at the end of this new Spoon video. Check out the clip for the track “Do You” below, directed by Hiro Murai (who’s done similarly-weird videos for Earl Sweatshirt, St. Vincent, Cults). The new album, They Want My Soul, comes out August 5th via Loma Vista. Hear an exclusive in-studio session from the band on KEXP Tuesday, August 5th at Noon PT, and catch them at the 2014 Capitol Hill Block Party this weekend. [Spin]

  • Two of KEXP’s favorite artists have teamed up on this track: hear Future Islands add their dramatic synth-pop style to their remix of Phantogram track “Black Out Days” below. [Stereogum]

  • Canadian quirksters The Unicorns are reuniting briefly in support of the reissue of their 2003 album, Who Will Cut Our Hair When We’re Gone?, which comes out August 26th on CD, and October 7th as a limited-edition record. Among the bonus items the reissue boasts is a cover of Daniel Johnston’s classic “Rocket Ship,” which you can stream below. [Consequence of Sound]

  • It’s finally here: a full-album stream of the new Shabazz Palaces album that you’ve been clamoring for since we first reported on the release back in the Spring. Titled Lese Majesty, the album hits stores on July 29th via Sub Pop. [NPR Music]
  • Get a taste of the upcoming new Weezer album below, with the track “Back to the Shack.” The full-length Everything Will Be Alright in the End comes out September 30 via Republic, and reunites the boys with The Cars’ frontman Ric Ocasek as producer. (Ocasek previously worked on The Blue Album and The Green Album.) [Pitchfork]
