English singer-songwriter Johnny Marr calls out our cash-obsessed culture in his video for "Easey Money." He described the video as, "a 'high times in low rent England' kind of thing." The track is featured on his upcoming album, Playland, which will be released in the US on October 7. [Pitchfork]

Earlier this week, Tori Amos treated her New York City audience with a piano rendition of Radiohead's hit "Creep." Aparently, its been several years since Radiohead has performed the song live, but that certainly didn't deter Amos. [CoS]

The Vaselines' will drop V for Vaselines, their first new album in four years, on September 29. The Scottish indie band has shared the album opener "High Tide Low Tide." [CoS]

Rapper/producer J. Cole has written and released hearbreaking song about Michael Brown, an unarmed African American man that was fatally shot by police in Ferguson, Missouri last weekend. Along with the song he also released a statement: [Pitchfork]
