  • With the success of the recent Slowdive reunion and news that guitarist Andy Bell had been freed from his Beady Eye obligations, it’s no wonder shoegaze band Ride have announced they’ll be reuniting. Starting in May 2015, the band have scheduled some shows in Europe, including the Primavera Sound Festival and a headlining spot for London’s Field Day festival. One U.S. show has been announced, for June 4th at New York’s Terminal 5. [Spin]

  • Last night, Brooklyn band Real Estate took the stage at Los Angeles’ Belasco Theater and covered the Weezer track “No Other One.” Noneother than Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo joined them on stage for their take on the Pinkerton track. • Today, singer/songwriter Marissa Nadler shares the digital release, Before July, a collection of demos and unreleased songs from her most recent album, July.
