  • Norwegian singer-songwriter Sondre Lerche has shared his cover of Sia's "Chandelier."His mellow, melancholy approach adds a depth and stark contrast to the original. Lerche said he chose this song because he “was curious what might happen if a male singer sang those words of desperation and self-analysis, instead of passing judgement on a troubled party girl.” [CoS]

  • Last year, The Replacements reunited at a few shows and today they've shared a 24-minute improv, jazz track called "Poke Me In My Cage." The Minnesota band has also announced their "likely" plans to release a follow up album to 1990's All Shook Down. [Pitchfork]

  • Montreal producer CFCF's latest song "Oil" will be featured on Adult Swim and label Ghostly International's second Ghostly Swim compilation, which will be available online later today. It's a bright instrumental that doesn't quite fit the typical dance track mold. [Stereogum]

  • Bob's Burgers has enlisted the talents of The National to create on of the most depressing holiday song's I've ever heard. Animated as an elf ornament, Matt Beringer moodily sings "Christmas Magic" with the backup of his other ornament bandmates. [Stereogum]
