Aphex Twin, aka Richard D. James, took to his twitter to announce plans to release a new album. The 13-track collection, titled Computer Controlled Acoustic Instrument Pt.2, will drop on January 23 via Warp Records. [Pitchfork]

Jens Lekman has shared "Postcard #2" the second installment of a series, which has him releasing a new song every week. Lekman said, "While working on my next album, I will sit down once a week, write down my thoughts, turn them into a song and share it with you directly. Think of these little songs as postcards. Ohio label Old 3C Records has shared their 50th and final album, aptly titled Fifty@50, in it's entirety on Bandcamp. The record features 50 previously unreleased tracks that are all 50 seconds or less in length (I'm sensing a theme). Listen to Yo La Tengo's contribution, an unheard demo called "Suspirica", below.
