  • This summer, Florence and the Machine will release their long-awaited third full-length How Big How Blue How Beautiful, and today they share the truly beautiful track "Ship to Wreck." In a press release, Florence Welch states, "I was thinking about my own self destructive side, and how you can make something only to tear it down, enjoy/destroy, create/devastate etc. When you’re in that whirlwind, you often end up breaking the thing you love the most." How Big How Blue How Beautiful hits stores on June 2nd via Republic Records. [Consequence of Sound]

On July 22nd, they'll release those recordings via 4AD Records, with proceeds going to benefit Partners in Health, an organization that seeks to improve the conditions of impoverished people worldwide. Only 1500 copies will be pressed of this limited-edition translucent vinyl box set. [Spin]
