A press release claims the band will not be touring in support of the album, but insists "the thick and heavy Dodge & Burn will satisfy your urges for the dark magic that is The Dead Weather for a very long time." Today, the band share a teaser of their first track "Take My Medicine" which you can stream below. No release date announced yet, and by the time it comes out, he'll probably have formed three new bands. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Swedish psychedelicists Goat share a new single, "It’s Time For Fun," which will be released by three different labels: Seattle's own Sub Pop in the States, Stranded Rekords in Scandinavia, and Rocket Recordings in the rest of the world. The track was reportedly written in their eerie mythological village of Korpilombolo, but recorded in the less-voodoo-entrenched city of New York. Stream the track below. Sub Pop releases the domestic 7" single and a digital version on September 25th. [Stereogum]
