If you missed a minute of our exclusive interview with Father John Misty, stream his hour-long intimate chat with DJ Cheryl Waters below. KEXP has had a long-standing relationship with this charismatic singer/songwriter (real name: Josh Tillman) and one-time Seattle resident. From his early days as the drummer in Fleet Foxes to his first solo in-studio with us in 2007 as "J. Tillman" to his current incarnation as "Father John Misty," we have followed every step. (Josh even took time out of his busy schedule to perform a KEXP New Home fundraiser for us in 2015; watch video here.) And today, the path takes us to his third solo LP, Pure Comedy, out today on Sub Pop Records. (Note: the songs have been removed from the audio below, but like we said, the album is out now!)
