I uploaded the KEXP android app on my sprint galaxy 4g phone and I hear nothing. I clicked on the sprint problem tag and was sent to doesn’t exist world.

This app is great! It would be nice if you could share/export playlists instead of just individual tracks. Love the station and the app.

    My review on google play…
The recently updated (2.0) version fixes the big issue with the stream suddenly stopping. Now it just works (on my Nexus 7 and Samsung Charge over wi-fi or 4G/3G). Also now shows the current artist info and album art (and this can be disabled). Only very minor trivial issue is it does not rotate into landscape mode. KEXP is the only station you need if you are interested in discovering new music and it’s commercial free. What more do you want? Just sent a $20 donation to support the music. So worth it!!!

Please, please, pleeeeeease update this app on Android and make it possible to export/email my entire list of “Favorites” and do so in some sort of organized/tabular list. Thank you! Keep the awesome music and programming coming!

I noticed that the “Listen Now” on the main (PC) web site now says AAC+.

Any chance we could get a 32Kbps AAC+ stereo stream for the Android app to use, instead of the 32k Mono MP3 stream, which sounds awful?
It would be nice to be able to listen to good-sounding KEXP longer within the data limit on my mobile plan.

I just downloaded the app to my android phone and I don’t see any shows under the ‘calendar’ section.
    Help!

Love the app and the ability to save songs I like and save them to my email address. After an update the Calender section stopped working and says “articles loading “. Android.

My app stopped working back in December.

Playlist will not update. Both “Listen” tab and “Playlist” tab are stuck showing the song that was playing on 2/8/2017, 7:34 am (Says “now playing, Peter Gabriel”).
I’ve uninstalled the app, cleared the cache on the phone, restarted the phone and reinstalled twice. Still doesn’t work.
This means I cannot see what’s actually playing or save favorites anymore. I’ve googled the issue and cannot find any evidence that this is happening to others… any suggestions?

My app has been stuck on the same playlist song from 2/8/2017, 7:34 AM.

I have the same issue as Eland and Traci. I tried the same steps as Eland. Even when I finally upgraded my phone, the issue transferred over to the new phone.
I’d love to see what is currently playing again!

Yes, same as above posters: with the app on my Samsung phone, the playlist never updates and always shows Peter Gabriel 2/8/2017; no current playlist info. I am excited to be able to access KEXP on the go but the playlist glitch is a real drawback. It would be great to have this fixed. Thanks!

Add another to the list of frustrated Android users with the app stuck on 2/8/17 with Peter Gabriel. No favorites; can’t get calendar info either. Love you guys–any hope for issues being resolved?

Same problem as the other Android people. First I was stuck on Adam Ant in January, then it started working again before it froze on Peter Gabriel.

I love the app as far as the music goes. However, I also have the same update issue – 2/08/2017. I wouldn’t mind except that I used to “favorite” songs I liked so I could go back and find them.

My sonic life remains frozen at 8 Feb 2017, as others have noted. Maybe we could open source this and solve whatever is going on?

My play list on my Android still is frozen on 2/8/2017 .. I love listening to the music… but would like to see whom I listen too… just in case I want to go buy it …

My KEXP Android App playlist is also frozen on 2/8. This is super lame. Is anyone at KEXP even aware of the issue?

I just went to the Play Store and there’s a message: “This app is no longer supported – 4/10/2017,” so I guess it has been abandoned (even though it still shows up on kexp.org/mobile!!!).

    Lame.

The android app is broken and won’t play the archive, the ipad app is broken (just blank screen), can’t stream from the website archive. All of these for about 18 mos. Seems like you *almost* had the archive via web working but then it broke again. Too bad I was suckered into thinking it was fixed and donated. Won’t be doing that again.
