  • Neutral Milk Hotel are making the most of their summer Coachella dates, and have expanded their worldwide reunion tour to cover the west coast. And, yes, this includes an April 4th stop at The Neptune Theatre in Seattle. Be sure to follow KEXP on Twitter and Facebook for a pre-sale code! [Pitchfork]

  • Following their 2011 album Build A Rocket Boys!, Manchester band Elbow plan to release their sixth album The Take Off And Landing Of Everything later this year. Stream the track “Fly Boy Blue / Lunette” below, and let’s hope the next album isn’t titled Uh Oh, Boys, the Rocket Crashed. [Stereogum]

  • Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene shares the track “Good Sex,” included on his forthcoming (no pun intended) album Darlings, out March 18th on Arts & Crafts. The album features longtime collaborators Charles Spearin and Ohad Benchetrit (Do Make Say Think, Broken Social Scene) along with Dean Stone (Apostle of Hustle). [Pitchfork]

  • Jersey jangle-pop group Real Estate are releasing their third album, Atlas, on March 4th via Domino Records. The album was recorded at Wilco’s Chicago studio, The Loft, last summer, and the label call it, “the band’s most collaborative, richly detailed album to date.” Check out the first single “Talking Backwards” below. They’ve also shared their North American tour dates, including a March 6th stop at Neumos. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Local label Suicide Squeeze are preparing a limited-edition collection titled Suicide Squeeze Presents: Forever Singles, due out March 4th. Limited to just 1,000 copies, the compilation will feature previously released 7-inches, repackaged onto hand-numbered, custom-color green vinyl. This documentation of this Northwest label includes tracks from JEFF the Brotherhood, La Luz, King Tuff, Dirty Beaches, and as you can stream below, Bleached. [Spin]
