  • The siblings behind JEFF The Brotherhood are certainly characters, and in the video for the track "In My Mouth" the boys are at the end of their strings. Created, filmed, and edited by Halle Ballard, the clip transforms them into puppets for the track off their latest full-length Wasted On The Dream, out now on Infinity Cat. Watch: [Stereogum]

  • Work continues on the fantastically ingenious project Meow the Jewels, a rework of last year's Run the Jewels full-length featuring cat sounds in place of instruments. (What started as a joke was enthusiastically backed by fans on Kickstarter, so here we are.) Today, half of the duo, El-P, shares a snippet of "Creown," a remake of "Crown". Check it out below: [Pitchfork]

  • We have another track from the forthcoming Mas Ysa debut full-length, Seraph, to share, and this one features guest vocals from Nicole Miglis of Hundred Waters. Stream the track "Gun" below. Mas Ysa (real name: Thomas Arsenault) explains, "I wanted the other side of the story told and not just mine. I’d written it originally with just the male perspective and it felt a bit unsatisfying, so I brought the subject into the song. That was cathartic." Seraph hits stores on July 24th via Downtown Records. [Stereogum]

  • Last month, we reported that Midday Show faves Spoon had recorded a cover of The Cramps song "TV Set" for the remake version of the film Poltergeist. Last night, the band performed their version on Conan, inspiring the show host to exclaim "I want to see that again right now, that was killer." Watch below, and keep track of all the late night TV musical highlights on the KEXP Blog. [Under the Radar]
